The Hare and
Hounds
Outside the pub.
I have to thank Martyn
for encouraging me to
change one of these
pictures, and the
following morning the
little blue car presented
a suitably ironic moment
to do so. Generally
speaking, however, I
don't expect to change
the content of the site
that often. That's what
the diary's for!
The Hare and Hounds was originally
a one storey building. We have not
been able to find out how old it is,
but we do know that at the
beginning of the nineteenth century,
at was known as The Titch Tavern.
From this page
you can...
This picture of the back of the
restaurant was taken on the same
deceptively nice-looking day as the
two of the front above. I needed a
dry spell for the bonfire party the
following weekend. Did I get it?
Only the diary will know.

There are more shots of the garden,
but taken earlier in the year, on the
next page.
