The Hare and
Hounds
The Pub - In The Garden
It has been put to me that a
garden in a pub is just a nice
idea, and a complete waste of
space. We have parking space
for twelve cars, and outdoors
seating for eighty people. Having
just lived through the-year-with-
the-three-zeros, I can see the
argument; but I'm not yet ready
to bring on the tarmac. One more
bad summer might just do it,
though.
Progressing...
The plants to the left were set in a cascade
arrangement of old tyres. An excellent idea;
however, now that the flowers have gone there is
just tyres left. I won't put in a link to Martins
Tyres, just down the road, because I don't
believe he's on the web yet. However, it's a top
place to go to re-boot your car.
The play equipment has been somewhat under-
used this year. Can't understand it at all.
To the right is Jessica, on the giraffe. That ride
will be here for the winter, and because so few
people had cause to venture outdoors and use it
this year, it might do another year too. I'm keeping
an open mind about that.
